In 2021, I teamed up with Vent's team who just raised a seed round for their project. The VentUp aimed to revolutionize the way pre-seed crypto startups raise funds. My role was to evolve Vent Launchpad which had only hosted one fundraising event (for the project itself), into a fully functional and user-centric platform.

Despite its promising start, Vent faced significant hurdles. The platform, lacking core functionalities and mobile responsiveness, had several upcoming token launches, but wasn't ready to handle them effectively. Early users were voicing their dissatisfaction, struggling with unclear processes and a general lack of usability.

The task at hand involved several key objectives:
Understanding and Improving User Interaction: I delved into how users interact with Web3 applications, aiming to simplify and clarify their investment journey.
Rapid Development of Core Features: Prioritizing essential functionalities like wallet connectivity, IDO registration, project descriptions, and KYC integration was crucial.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Working alongside the CPO, backend engineers, and leveraging insights from the customer support team, we identified and addressed key user pain points. This collaborative approach led to a well-defined project scope and roadmap.
User Testing and Iterative Design: After developing initial prototypes, user testing was conducted to ensure our revisions were intuitive and user-friendly. This iterative process was vital in refining our platform.
Additional Responsibilities: Beyond the core platform, I was involved in creating email marketing flows and integrating a new KYC provider, enhancing overall user engagement and compliance.

Developing a Feedback Strategy
A critical aspect of my work involved collaborating with other product stakeholders to devise a strategy for collecting and processing user feedback. This approach was twofold: focusing on both qualitative and quantitative data to gain a comprehensive understanding of the user journey.
For qualitative feedback, we employed surveys and engaged our community manager to gather insights from the most active members of our community. This direct line of communication with our users was invaluable in understanding their experiences and expectations.

Post-launch, our focus shifted to implementing a comprehensive design system and incorporating new features, driven by feedback from our power users (project ambassadors).
Then, the subsequent acquisition of our company initiated a major rebranding phase. This involved not only creating a new interface that aligned with the new brand but also integrating new features like a staking dashboard and token claim station. Concurrently, I developed a new marketing design system for the marketing department.
Post-launch, our focus shifted to implementing a comprehensive design system and incorporating new features, driven by feedback from our power users (project ambassadors).

The collective efforts of our product team led to a dramatically improved platform, facilitating the smooth launch of over 10 projects with participation of tens of thousands investors. This success helped establish a strong and loyal user base, setting the stage for continued growth under the new brand.
